Bruce is an active competition piper whose level is assessed externally in Scotland and Germany. Daily structured practice, a constant search for improvement, and preparing each performance the way an athlete prepares a match. Stage experience with a pipe band (Dutch Pipes and Drums) at productions and events where André Rieu, Guus Meeuwis and Defqon.1 were part of the programme — as a pipe band on the bill, not as a direct collaboration with these artists. Live Highland sound, in the attire agreed for the selected package — atmosphere recordings can't match.
