All packages include VAT, a traditional kilt and up to 60 minutes of round-trip travel time from Hedel. Beyond that: €1 per additional travel minute — you receive a complete quote in advance.

Short musical moment

Up to approx. two hours on site including preparation
For ceremonies with multiple playing moments. The music and planning required determine which package fits; a wedding or funeral does not automatically require this package.

- Programme duration: Up to 1.5 hours from the first agreed playing moment
- On-site: Up to approx. two hours on site including preparation
- Set length: Longer sets of up to 15 minutes
- Rest: At least approx. 15 minutes of rest between longer sets

- Requests: Up to two request tunes from the current, playable repertoire in consultation

- On-site: Up to approx. 3.5 hours on site including preparation
- Set length: Sets of up to 15 minutes
- Rest: At least approx. 15 minutes of rest between longer sets
- Playing moments: Multiple playing moments within a programme of up to 3 hours
- Requests: Up to four request tunes from the current, playable repertoire in consultation
- Personal consultation about programme and timing
- Approx. 30 min warmup/tuning time beforehand (preferably discreet, public only by agreement)
- Two to four weeks of preparation for tunes on the repertoire list; at least four weeks of preparation per tune for new tunes
Officially graded bagpiper — ready for your event
Bruce is an active competition piper, graded CLASP Grade 3 in Light Music and Piobaireachd and BAG Grade 3 Light Music / Grade 2 Piobaireachd. This grading is background information about his playing level, not a guarantee or price basis for a specific performance.
Requests & repertoire
Requests apply to tunes in the existing public repertoire. Ready-to-play tunes need no extra practice; tunes available on request need two to four weeks. A completely new tune is not automatically included: suitability for Great Highland Bagpipe, preparation time and any extra cost are discussed first.

Travel time
Up to 60 minutes of total round-trip travel time from Hedel is included in every package. Beyond that you pay €1 per additional travel minute (incl. VAT — no VAT or mileage on top). Travel time is the round-trip time agreed in advance via Google Maps from Hedel, confirmed beforehand; no retroactive charges. Parking or other special location costs only after prior agreement.
Examples for the Personal performance package (€295): 40 min round trip — €295 total · 90 min round trip — €325 total · 120 min round trip — €355 total. Any previously agreed special location costs are not included in these examples.
Payment
Invoice after the booking (consumers) or in advance for corporate / event bookings. Bank transfer (SEPA), no card surcharges.
